Fujifilm FinePix X100 firmware live with major updates

Fujifilm as promised put out a major firmware update for the FinePix X100 that addresses a slew of complaints for the otherwise well-received camera. The 1.1 update. The pseudo-rangefinder now locks down its drive mode, flash, macro, and white balance settings and will remember these along with more settings, including when the camera is shut off. Autofocusing is better as well with both a preserved frame size when switching viewfinders and an autofocus point that can stay onscreen, parallax-adjusted, while shooting macros or other closeups where the camera might...
